Job Summary:
The Project/Construction Manager will be responsible for managing construction projects from inception to completion. This role involves coordinating with project teams, ensuring adherence to timelines, budgets, and quality standards, and focusing on managing on-site operations and resolving any issues that arise.
Key Responsibilities:
- Project Management: Plan, execute, and close construction projects, ensuring all phases are completed on time and within budget.
- Coordination: Work closely with architects, engineers, subcontractors, and clients to coordinate project activities and ensure smooth project execution.
- Budget Management: Develop and manage project budgets, ensuring cost-effective use of resources and adherence to financial targets.
- Timeline Management: Create and maintain detailed project schedules, ensuring timely completion of all project phases.
- Quality Control: Implement quality control procedures to ensure project deliverables meet the required standards and specifications.
- On-Site Operations: Oversee on-site construction activities, ensuring compliance with safety regulations and resolving any issues that arise.
- Risk Management: Identify potential project risks and develop mitigation strategies to minimize impact on project timelines and budgets.
- Stakeholder Communication: Maintain effective communication with all project stakeholders, providing regular updates and addressing any concerns.
- Team Leadership: Lead and mentor project teams, fostering a collaborative and productive work environment.
Qualifications:
Experience: Over 20 years of experience in construction project management.
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Construction Management, Civil Engineering, or a related field. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PMP, CCM) is preferred.
