We are currently seeking an experienced Quality Engineer (Material) to join our team in Al-Ula and ensure the quality of materials used in our projects.

Job Summary:

The Quality Engineer (Material) will ensure the quality of materials used in construction projects meets specified standards. This role involves conducting inspections, tests, and audits to verify material quality and compliance with project specifications and industry regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Quality Assurance: Ensure that all materials used in the project meet the required quality standards and specifications.
• Inspections: Conduct regular inspections of materials delivered to the project site to ensure they meet the specified quality and compliance standards.
• Testing: Perform or oversee tests on materials to verify their quality and suitability for use in the project.
• Audits: Conduct audits of suppliers and subcontractors to ensure they comply with quality standards and project requirements.
• Documentation: Maintain accurate and detailed records of all inspections, tests, and audits, including any non-conformance reports and corrective actions taken.
• Compliance: Ensure all materials and processes comply with relevant industry standards, codes, and regulations.
• Problem Resolution: Identify and resolve any issues related to material quality, working closely with suppliers, subcontractors, and project teams.
• Continuous Improvement: Develop and implement quality improvement initiatives to enhance material quality and project outcomes.
• Training and Support: Provide training and support to project teams on quality standards and procedures for materials.

Qualifications:

Experience: Over 15 years of experience in material quality assurance within the construction industry.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil Engineering, Material Science, or a related field. Relevant certifications (e.g., CQE, Six Sigma) are preferred.

Skills:

• Proven track record of ensuring material quality for large-scale construction projects.
• Strong knowledge of material quality standards, testing methods, and industry regulations.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in quality management software and tools.
