Job Summary:

The Senior Structural Engineer will design and analyze structural components of construction projects, ensuring safety, stability, and compliance with relevant codes and standards. This role involves providing technical guidance and support to the project team to achieve high-quality project outcomes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Structural Design: Develop structural designs for various components of construction projects, ensuring they meet safety and stability requirements.
• Analysis: Perform structural analysis using appropriate software and methodologies to ensure designs can withstand applied loads.
• Code Compliance: Ensure all structural designs comply with relevant building codes, standards, and regulations.
• Technical Guidance: Provide technical support and guidance to the project team, including junior engineers and drafters.
• Quality Assurance: Implement quality control procedures to ensure structural integrity and compliance with project specifications.
• Collaboration: Work closely with architects, MEP engineers, and other stakeholders to integrate structural designs with overall project plans.
• Documentation: Prepare detailed design documents, calculations, and reports, maintaining accurate records of all structural engineering activities.
• Risk Management: Identify potential structural risks and develop mitigation strategies to ensure project safety and stability.
• Site Inspections: Conduct site inspections to verify the implementation of structural designs and resolve any on-site issues.

Qualifications:

Experience: Over 15 years of experience in structural engineering within the construction industry.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Civil or Structural Engineering. A Master’s degree or relevant certifications (e.g., PE, SE) are preferred.

Skills:

• Proven track record of designing and analyzing structural components for large-scale projects.
• Strong knowledge of structural design principles, building codes, and standards.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in structural analysis and design software (e.g., SAP2000, ETABS, AutoCAD).
